The New Beginning

Here I am. All things have ended and it begins anew. There are so many things different, yet I feel like I have come full circle. I'm a new person but all roads have ended. I don't know where to go from here. Chains keep me from flying away. I'm bound to this place of ending and unable to go forward. I watch as those I know and love continue on without me. I call out in my place for help. For some kind of understanding. No looks are given my way. All continue on with a steady pace. Dark, alone, I stand in my place. Never going forward. Refusing to look back.
